I use art therapy and creativity to address your inner critic and help you heal, energize, and strengthen your inner strengths. This approach helps with depression and anxiety by teaching you coping skills to navigate your symptoms and challenge the harsh critic, resulting in higher self-esteem and self-worth.
Let's discuss your art therapy goals, such as improving self-esteem, coping skills, and mindfulness. We'll begin with a simple project and progress from there during our 60-minute weekly sessions. Over 12 weeks, we'll explore various projects like gratitude scrolls, inner critic sculptures, affirmation cards, and more.
You're free to stop art therapy if it's not for you. My aim is to assist you in overcoming difficulties, healing, and progressing to your desired future. I'll support you at every step and offer referrals for other therapists. Congrats on seeking help!
I provide all the necessary art supplies for you to experiment with during the therapy sessions!
Providing a range of materials can help you explore different forms of expression and tap into your creativity. This approach can also allow you to work with materials you might not have access to or feel comfortable using outside of therapy.
By providing materials for you, it can also help you save money on purchasing your own supplies or encourage you to purchase supplies to use at home.
Looking for a flexible and creative approach to therapy? I offer confidential individual sessions to adolescents and adults aged 12 and over. In each session, I provide an art prompt tailored to your specific goals for treatment. Together, we'll work on creating art that helps you process and overcome challenges.
Whether you have a specific goal in mind or just need a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions, my sessions are designed to be flexible and based on your needs. Plus, you don't need any artistic experience to benefit from art therapy.
